Tour description

Make your way past the Maiskogelalm Hütte next to the top station of the cable car and follow the path climbing upwards. Now continue further along a forest path which undulating, brings you to a plateau (Gasthaus Glocknerblick). From here you will have magnificent views of the Glocknermassive (15 – 20 min).

Die einmalige Lage des Glocknerblicks wurde schon mehrmals als einer der schönsten Plätze der Alpen ausgezeichnet. Das beeindruckende Panorama reicht vom höchsten Berg Österreichs, dem Großglockner 3798 m, dem Dachsteinmassiv, dem Hochkönig und weiter bis zum Steinernen Meer mit dem Watzmann.
