Tour description

A varied nature trail through forests and meadows, offering magnificent views of Kaprun.

The trail starts on Schulstraße and initially leads uphill along Schaufelbergstraße towards Stangerbauer. About 300 metres after the cattle grid, turn right onto an idyllic footpath into the Stallnerwald forest. The route continues for about 1.5 kilometres through the peaceful high forest to Salader Aste. From there, a wooden cart track leads downhill to the Kleinstalln farm, before a farm track leads back to the Salzach bridge and then on to Kaprun.
