Route description:
The first 10 minutes of this stage are identical to the last part of the previous stage: you walk up the trail from the Bürglhütte over the meadows until you reach a mountain road. Follow this road a few meters uphill to a junction. Here you leave the path of the previous stage and follow the signpost "Pinzgauer Spaziergang" on the right above the alpine road. You hike up the path past a dilapidated alpine hut, ignore the path to the left uphill towards the Geißstein, always follow the signs "Pinzgauer Spaziergang" and reach the peak of the Murnauer Scharte (1.959 m).

Now you follow the path, which always keeps to the right (south) of the summit: at first the path descends in a gently up and down through beautiful alpine pasture terrain to a junction below the Pihapperkogel. Here you leave the "Pinzgauer Spaziergang" for a short time and hike down the path to the not serviced hut Manlitzkarhütte.

From the Manlitzkarhütte you descend briefly on the access road and soon branch off to the left onto a path that takes you uphill along the slopes and back to the Pinzgauer Spaziergang hiking trail - you will reach it below the Manlitzkogel. Continue more or less on the same level until you reach the crest below the summit Rabenkopf. Follow the crest downhill until you reach the Sommertor (1.939 m), a spot where many paths merge together.

Now you leave the "Pinzgauer Spaziergang" for today and descend diagonally right over the beautiful meadow path (be careful not to take the wrong path; the right path continues along the slope more or less parallel) to the Uttendorfer Hochsonnbergalm (approx. 1.910 m). Here you can stop and wait for your shuttle, which will bring you to your accommodation in Uttendorf.

Tips

Despite the not too long stage you need reasonably good weather, because the trail runs continuously near the ridge and sometimes only traces of the path (although well marked) can be seen. The Manlitzkarhütte is open from July to September, from Thursday noon to Sunday.
