Tour description
A quiet high-altitude trail through the forest – with magnificent views of Kaprun and a leisurely descent into the valley.
From Kaprun municipal office, the trail leads uphill towards the former Guggenbichl panorama holiday home, where the high-altitude trail begins. It climbs gently in serpentines through mixed forest, past ditches and young alder stands – always with beautiful views of Kaprun. It then descends to Burg-Schlossstraße, from where you can easily return to the town centre. There is also a connection to the Murlehenweg trail (No. 12) – ideal for an individual extension.
