After taking the Kaprun glacier cable cars up to the Top of Salzburg panoramic platform, the challenging ascent to the summit of the Kitzsteinhorn begins. Only 200 metres of altitude separate the mountain station from the 3,203-metre-high destination. A partially secured path with steel cables leads to the striking summit – a mountain guide is recommended. At the top, an impressive panorama awaits you, stretching to the horizon on a clear day.
