Tour description
From Kaprun town centre along a scenic route to the Maiskogel family mountain – ideal for nature lovers and leisurely hikers!
The tour starts in Schulstraße in the heart of Kaprun. Directly opposite the school, turn right uphill onto Schaufelbergstraße, past charming farms and with magnificent views of the valley. Shortly before the Stangerbauer mountain inn, the Maiskogel farm track branches off and leads steadily uphill past the valley station of the Almlift to the popular family destination – the Maiskogel. A pleasant route with alpine flair and beautiful views.

Trail suitable for pushchairs: From the Kaprun middle school via Schaufelbergstraße on asphalt road to the mountain restaurant Stangerbauer. It takes approxximately 1,5 hours. The Gasthof Unteraigen is located along the way (after about 30 minutes). Return the same way.
With an all-terrain pushchair you can hike up to the mountain station Maiskogel.
