Tour description
Scenic hike from Klammsee to Alpengasthof Glocknerblick – with views of the Großglockner and a rustic place to stop for refreshments!
From the Kaprun Valley, the Jetzbachsteig trail leads over the Jetzbach Bridge to the Jetzbach-Augut and on to the idyllic Schneckenreith alpine pasture. From here, the trail initially follows a forest road before trail no. 29 begins. This winds steeply through high forest and deciduous forest up to the Ast'n – a quiet wooded area – and ends at the Alpengasthof Glocknerblick at 1,670 metres. Once at the top, you will be rewarded with a magnificent panorama and a traditional snack.

How to get there
To the starting point, the Jetzbachbridge you can get by bus 660 (station "Aubrücke) or by car. You drive through the Kaprun valley direction Kitzsteinhorn and after 3 kilometers you arrive at the Klammsee - there you have the possibility to park your car. From the parking or the busstation you reach the Jetzbachbridge in 8 minutes.
