New at Schmitten: Kidsslope and Selfie Video on the Funslope XXL

The Schmittenhöhe has extended its range of slope services for the official start of the skiing season on 27 November 2015. The new Kids Slope next to the Glocknerbahn lift takes young skiers to an exciting world of skiing adventures. This combination of obstacles, moguls, tunnels and a slalom course is perfectly attuned to the needs of children who are already comfortable on skis. On their way down the slope, the youngsters are also treated to anecdotes and stories about Schmidolin the Dragon and his friends.

The 1300-meter Schmitten Funslope features tunnels, jumps and banked turns, and is the longest slope of its kind in the world. This season, it again offers winter sports acrobats some of the greatest fun imaginable. With the SpotOn video app, daredevil funslope fans can now capture their ride on a selfie video. The SpotOn video tracker is downloaded to a mobile phone and activated; six GPS-controlled cameras along the slope automatically film the ride. Afterwards, the videos are available for download in HD quality and can be shared on all social networks. The SpotOn app is available from the App Store and Google Play.
