Austrian cuisine and a view that will amaze you: From the sun terrace of the quaint "Glocknerblick" hut, you not only have a view of Austria's highest peak, the Grossglockner, but also of the Dachstein massif, the Hochkönig and the Watzmann.
The name of this quaint alpine hut on the Maiskogel in Kaprun says it all: At Glocknerblick you can enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the king of the Austrian mountains - the 3,798-metre-high Grossglockner. But the panorama reveals much more than its namesake mountain: the Dachstein massif, the Hochkönig and the Steinerne Meer with the Watzmann are at least three more reasons to visit the mountain hut and enjoy the view. In summer and winter, hikers, bikers, skiing fans and ski tourers come together here to enjoy the spectacular panorama and traditional Austrian cuisine. You can master the ascent on foot, by bike or with the MK Maiskogelbahn and the K-onnection.
