Schmittenhöhebahn AG

Schmittenhöhe, offering a breathtaking view of the snowcapped peaks of the Hohe Tauern mountain range, is one of the loveliest mountains with great lookouts in the Eastern Alps. On Zell’s local mountain, guests can appreciate the view of 30 summits over 3,000 metres including Grossglockner, Wilder Kaiser and Kitzsteinhorn.
In the summer months Schmittenhöhe is absolutely made for taking a walking tour.


How to get there:
The valley stations of all cable cars can be reached easily by car or Postbus (numbers 660 and 71). There is a lot of free parking space available except at cityXpress.
