Winter start on the Kitzsteinhorn

Have you got your skis out of the cellar yet? The ski season on the Kitzsteinhorn starts extra early - depending on the weather conditions, you can get a taste of the winter air in the glacier ski resort at 3,000 metres from the end of October or beginning of November. Using the Gletscherjet or the 3K-Connection, you can float uphill to the freshly groomed pistes in comfort by mountain railway. Once you arrive at an altitude of 3,029 metres, you will find perfect snow conditions for your first descents in autumn, and snow park fans can also look forward to kickers, rails, and boxes in the Glacier Park on the glacier plateau. With the diverse event programme, there is even more to look forward to in the coming winter months: free ski and snowboard tests as well as the Freeride Film Festival welcome the eagerly awaited ski season in style.
