Kulturverein Initiative Lohninghof

After the original “Lohninghof” in Thumersbach district of Zell am See was supposed to be sold in 1998, the “Initiative Lohninghof” cultural association was founded in order to preserve this almost 1,000-year-old building as a meeting place. After an extensive renovation, the Lohninghof developed into a popular meeting place for those interested in culture.

The Lohninghof cultural center has a large event room on the upper floor. There is also an "artist room" on the same floor. The event room is equipped with flexible seating such as a stage, which makes it perfect for lectures, readings, concerts, cabarets and much more. Since February 2015 there has also been a passenger lift to enable barrier-free access to all events!
