The free Hochgebirgsstauseen Kaprun car park is the ideal starting point for a trip to the high mountain reservoirs or for hikes in the surrounding area. It is not possible to drive up to the reservoirs in your own car or coach, and the car park is only accessible during the opening hours of the reservoirs.
