The Zell SummerNightFestival is back!

Every Wednesday in July & August

Wednesday will be our favourite day again this summer! After a two-year break, this year's SummerNightFestival in Zell's historic town centre will once again take place every week in July and August. Will we see you there?

Good music plus cool drinks and good food, plus your loved ones - that's the combination that turns balmy summer nights into the most beautiful memories. Zell's SummerNightFestival provides all of this: the town centre radiates Mediterranean dolce vita flair with stylish market stalls and good music every Wednesday from 7 pm, turning Zell’s town centre into a meeting place for guests and locals alike. After the two-year break due to COVID-19, the joy of the new start is palpable among everyone - and in addition, this year’s SummerNightFestival scores highly with numerous innovations that will especially please gourmets and connoisseurs.

How does the region taste?

This year’s special focus is on regional specialities: sampling the best of the region is something we don't need to be told twice! The selection ranges from "Pinzgau Bladln" (similar to crispy, deep-fried potato pancakes; made of cooked, grated potatoes) to "Erdäpfelnidei" (dough of boiled potatoes, pressed through a ricer, with added flour and nutmeg, slightly similar to gnocchi dough; shaped into small rolls and then deep-fried in clarified butter) or regional wok specialities. And because the events fortunately take place on a weekly basis, there is plenty of time to try all the dishes and pick your personal favourite at the end.

Music & Performance

Of course, there will also be plenty to see and admire at the SummerNightFestival: from the extraordinary decorations, with which the market stalls are embellished, to the performances by first-class music bands and artist acts. The Carinthian rock cover band Rusty Springs, the live acoustic musicians The Offsets Duo and the British duo Boots are among the acts announced for the upcoming Zell SummerNightFestival: And we are looking forward to finally hearing live music in the alleys of Zell am See again!

In addition to musical entertainment, the performance group Foolpool or the Flying Freaks, with their parkour and stilt show, and others will delight us. The Mowetz Theatre will also be part of the series of events: The troupe specialises in ecotainment - a combination of ecology and entertainment.

Climate-friendly to the festival

Speaking of sustainability: As a Climate and Energy Model Region, Zell am See-Kaprun also places an environmental focus on the SummerNightFestivals. Night buses and trains ensure comfortable arrivals and return journeys. With the Pinzgau Mobility Card, which every guest of Zell am See and Kaprun receives from the first night of their stay, travel on public transport is even free of charge.

Finally, the only question that remains is: What happens if, on the respective Wednesdays, the balmy summer night turns out to be an evening with gusty, fresh wind? Don't worry: the Zell SummerNightFestival takes place in all weathers, and a few drops of rain won't spoil the good mood.

WE WISH YOU LOTS OF FUN!
