With the start of the season 2019/20, the new cable car connection from Kaprun via the Maiskogel makes it easy and convenient for you to access the glacier skiing fun at the Kitzsteinhorn. Thanks to the new ski-in-ski-out quality, you can now for the first time get in comfort from the town centre via the Maiskogel family mountain, directly from the bed uphill to the glacier.
The new 3K K-onnection now connects the Maiskogel family mountain with the 100% snow-reliable Kitzsteinhorn, thus creating a fascinating entity. Starting from Kaprun, the cable car axis to TOP OF SALZBURG in 3,029 metres above sea level is unique in the Eastern Alps. The panorama platform offers you a unique view to the pristine wilderness of the Hohe Tauern National Park.
For the first time, the new cable car connection enables access from the Glemm Valley to the Schmittenhöhe panorama and family resort. This allows for an easy connection to the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn by ski bus within a few minutes or directly across Piste 168 via zellamseeXpress uphill to the Schmittenhöhe.
Using the top-modern 10-person gondolas, with WLAN and Jukeboxx sound, you get to the Schmittenhöhe ski resort quickly and in comfort. An exceptional view to Lake Zell and the surrounding 30 three thousand metres high mountains is waiting for you at the summit.
