Exercise in the fresh air makes one hungry and the many mountain huts and restaurants are perfect to swing into. Every Sunday is Pinzga Day and the cooks in the mountain restaurants spoil guests with Pinzgau delicacies! There is an extra menu card with regional specialities for gourmets and all others who enjoy Pinzgauer Kasnock’n (cheese pasta), Kaspressknödl (cheese dumplings in clear broth), Gamssuppe (chamois soup), Erdäpflnidei (potato pasta), farmer´s doughnuts and much more.
Every Sunday from 10.00am - special culinary delights at the huts and restaurants at Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See.
