'TAG DES DENKMALS' | Kaprun power plant

In Kaprun, participation in this year's European Heritage Days will focus on the ‘historical triangle’ that has shaped the town of Kaprun: Bürgkogel, Kirchbichl and Kaprun Castle.

At the foot of the Bürgkogel, VERBUND will open its doors and provide insights into the KAPRUN POWER PLANT HAUPTSTUFE with special guided tours.
We invite interested participants to join us in taking a look at the early history of the power plant as well as the architecture, craftsmanship and technology of the early days.

Free guided tours in small groups from 9 am to 11 am.
No prior registration required.

Culinary delights will be provided by @AustrianTapas.

Kaprun Castle - Guided tours 2 - 4 pm.
The Kaprun Castle Association has been renovating the former ruins since 1984 and the results of decades of work are presented in special guided tours and an exhibition in the small castle museum as part of the Heritage Day.
