The Spartans are coming! From 11 to 13 September 2026, thousands of Spartans will face the challenges of the new Spartan Trifecta weekend in Austria.

The Spartan Race obstacle race invites all children, teenagers and adults to push their limits. The Spartan Race is the biggest outdoor playground for adults.

The first Spartan Race took place in Vermont in the United States. Now There are over 150 races in nearly 20 countries - one premiered in Zell am See-Kaprun in September 2022.

11. September

KIDS RACE 1-3K + OBSTACLES:

  • DISTANCE 0,8k | AGE 4-6
  • DISTANCE 1,6k | AGE 7-9
  • DISTANCE 3,2k | AGE 10-15

The different distances allow anyone and everyone to participate: There are the following variants: 5 kilometres and 20 obstacles (Sprint), 10 kilometres and 25 obstacles (Super), and half marathon and 30 obstacles (Beast). In addition, the Kids Open Heat with three different distances will be offered for all young Spartans.

Parallel to the race there will be the Spartan Festival that is provided for entertainment outside the races.
