NATURE, CULTURE & CULINARY DAY AT KITZSTEINHORN
Traditional alphorn sounds fill the air at the most beautiful viewpoints, while Gletschermühle Restaurant invites you to a late-morning get-together. At food stands, you can taste and buy Pinzgau specialties, while local Pinzgau makers offer hand-crafted spice mills and ceramics. For a lunch special, Bauernkrapfen (fried pastries) and Bratl (Austrian roast pork) are served.
Plus, Sumpfpitzinga from Maishofen set the perfect mood with their high-energy take on traditional "Tanzlmusi". At 2 pm, all alphorn groups gather on the Gletschermühle terrace to bring the day to a fitting close.

For an extra dose of nature and culture, Hohe Tauern National Park rangers are on site throughout the day. On the "Kitzsteinhorn Explorer Tour" through four climate zones and the free "Nationalpark Gallery Tour", they share fascinating insights into the Hohe Tauern mountain world – an unforgettable experience for the whole family.
