Kitzsteinhorn Explorer Tour

A Hohe Tauern National Park ranger guides you via cable cars from 768m to Salzburg’s highest sightseeing attraction TOP OF SALZBURG on 3,029m. On the way, there is plenty to get to know and discover about Kitzsteinhorn’s plant life and wildlife, and a special highlight: the ride with the “3K K-onnection” – Salzburg’s first tricable gondola lift and the world’s most modern cable car. Unprecedented technical finesse provides breathtaking panoramic views.

• When: each Tuesday, from Dec. 27, 2022 to April 4, 2023
• Meeting point: 9:30 am, at the Kaprun Center (MK Maiskogelbahn valley station)
• Duration: approx. 2,5 to 3 hours
• Costs: € 11 (lift ticket not included)

Tip: After the tour, you may have lunch in the „Gipfel Restaurant” while enjoying the spectacular high-alpine scenery before joining the ranger for the National Park Gallery Tour.
