"Kirchweihtanzl" by the Zeller Tresterer

Programme:
9.30 am Holy mass - Assumption day - with blessing of flowers and herbs Followed at about 10.30 am The church goers and the ladies in traditional costumes, the population of Zell and guests are welcomed by the Whip men group of Piesendorf and the Historic shooting company of Zell am See on the town square. Accompanied by the Saalfeldner Tanzlmusi (folk music group) we walk down to the fairground (behind the parish church). The Saalfeldner Tanzlmusi plays traditional folk music for dancing.
Schuhplatteln and folk dancing with the Kitzstoaner (trad. costume club) Cracking with the whip and shooting on the precious, handpainted target with the cross bow Local dances, leather pant clapping, traditional whip men, the open cross bow tournament and local food and drinks and the opportunity to meet locals in a jauntily atmosphere!
