Guided Nature Walk to the Fürthermoaralm

The guided ranger tour starts at the NP information hut near the Mooserboden mountain restaurant. From here, the path leads gently downhill, offering views of the impressive reservoir lakes and expansive alpine meadows. Along the way, the ranger shares interesting facts about alpine nature, the animal and plant world, as well as the history of the reservoirs and the Hohe Tauern National Park.
Small streams and typical high mountain flora line the path, before finally reaching the Fürthermooralm. The alpine pasture offers a nice resting spot amid the mountain landscape, before the tour returns along the same route to the Mooserboden mountain restaurant.
