Guided hike: The power of the water in Kaprun Valley

The Kaprun High Mountain Reservoirs 2,000 metres above sea level are a masterpiece of high alpine power generation and an impressive excursion destination. The hiking tour takes you across the dam wall and along the Mooserboden. Ambitious hikers climb the 2,108-metre-high Höhenburg. Downhill into the valley, the trail leads along the herb trail to the Fürthermoaralm. The return journey to the starting point in the valley is accomplished by bus and inclined lift.
