The Grand Hotel Zell am See celebrates its 130th anniversary on Friday, 10 July, 2026 – a special milestone marked by a diverse program of events for guests and locals alike. Against the stunning backdrop of Lake Zell, this historic hotel combines history, culinary delights, and entertainment to create an unforgettable experience.
Starting at noon, a pianist will provide a stylish musical prelude. The afternoon will focus on personal memories and enjoyment: a photo booth will capture special moments. Throughout the day, "The Emperor" (a costumed actor) will be on hand, strolling through the hotel, and guests can take photos with "His Majesty."
The festive evening begins at 6.30 pm with a reception on the lakeside terrace, followed by the presentation of the book "Zell am See and its Grand Hotel" by owner Dr. Wilfried Holleis.
An elegant anniversary gala dinner will be the culinary highlight of the day. From 9 pm onwards, live music in the lakeside bar with the "First Line Band" will provide a delightful finale.
With this diverse program, the Grand Hotel Zell am See once again underscores its role as a place of encounters, tradition, and special moments – a tradition that has continued for 130 years.
