If you are one those people who just can’t wait to take their first turns in the snow, then we have very good news for you: Kitzsteinhorn Glacier is already open for autumn skiing.
The conditions and the specific programme of open pistes, cable cars and huts depend on the prevailing weather situation and the temperatures. We keep you up to date with our digital piste map.

The presale of season tickets has already started. The tickets are valid from 12.10.2019.
Two sports shops and rentals for your equipment are open on Kitzsteinhorn glacier: An extensive programme and advice awaits you at Bründl Sports at the Alpincenter and Oberschneiders Skidome2 at Langwiedboden.
From the valley to the glacier
The bus service 660 will take you from Zell am See via Kaprun uphill to the Kitzsteinhorn. Ski busses will commence service again from Saturday, 26.10.2019.
NEWS WINTER 2019/20: From 30. November 2019 on, the new 3K K-onnection cable car will be opened and connect the village of Kaprun via the Maiskogel with the Kitzsteinhorn glacier. That means: ski in-ski out for all guests of Kaprun and an even more comfortable access to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier.
If we have convinced you now that it is time to start the skiing season, then wait no longer and come to the Kitzsteinhorn; because there is always time for winter!
Ski ALPIN CARD
With the new Ski ALPIN CARD, three premium skiing regions will be connected in a single ticket from winter 2019/20 on: the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See as well as Kitzsteinhorn Kaprun. 408 kilometres of piste and 121 cable cars and lifts are thus combined in one ski pass. That means: more skiing fun, freeride action and snow advneture in one ticket - endless mountain experience with the new Ski ALPIN CARD.
