night Skiing on the Schmittenhöhe
When a day of skiing comes to an end, then we still carry on: when the lights of the floodlight systems in Zell am See go on, then it’s time for the night slope. The night slope opens on fixed dates from 6:30 pm. You can carve downhill into the valley until 9:00 pm and enjoy very special views across the town and the lake.
NIGHT SKIING ON FIXED DATES
"Lights on" is the motto on piste # 17 high above Zell am See from 28 December 2019 until 8 March 2019 every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The lights go on and illuminate the piste near the Ebenbergalm. Here you can perform magic with carving turns on illuminated snow after dinner from 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm. A very special experience - the lighting conditions on a floodlit piste are of great advantage and often better than during the day. You can see everything and can really go for it.
enjoy the view
The "skyline" of Zell am See is always in view and the town's lights twinkle between the nocturnal glistening of Lake Zell and the starry night sky. But keep your eyes on the piste. After all, you want to return to the valley safe and sound. The night piste can be used without any extra costs in connection with a valid Schmittenhöhe lift ticket. Special evening tickets are available for € 12 for adults. Children and youth tickets can be purchased for € 6. Young skiers born 2012 or who are younger ski for free.
