Easter is the time of the year when nature awakes. Grey winter days are over and many of us start decorating our homes and gardens for the holidays. On 19th March the exhibition 'Frühlingsgefühle' (Spring Fever) is opened at Lohninghof inn. Artist Michaela Haitzmann presents her decoration ideas made of clay. Look forward to Easter eggs in all imaginable variations and many other objects from this natural material.

In Zell am See-Kaprun it is a dear tradition to celebrate the end of a great winter season with the 'Sun, Snow and Party' Week. From 20th to 27th March 2010 Pinzgau will be raising the roof once again! The highlight of this year's event is the performance of the Austrian pop legend Wolfgang Ambros. And the up-and-coming pop and rock singer Anna F. from Styria will get her audience going, too. A programme brimming with many other exciting events and culinary treats from the region round of the annual culmination of the winter season.

'Burg goes Irish': at the start of the 'Sun, Snow & Party Week' the region invites guests to medieval Kaprun Castle on Saturday night. The time-honoured building is the venue for an evening brimming with Celtic enjoyment of life. The St. Patrick's Night is kicking off at 8 pm with a fire spectacle in the castle court, followed by a performance of Kaprun's Line Dancers. And of course, the typical sounds of bagpipes are a must, too. As the final highlight, there will be a whisky tasking of the finest distillates of the green island.

The musical school Musikum has made it its business to train children and teenagers and give them a helping hand on their way of independently using music as a creative outlet. Interested visitors are invited to come to Schmittenhöhe for a demonstration of the results. In the course of the 'Sun, Snow & Party Week' the Musikum is performing live at Panorama Bergrestaurant, weather permitting. Instructed by Mag. Gerhard Schmiederer, the ensemble is playing popular music at the panorama terrace from 11 am. (Only in case of fair weather)

Almost three out of four TV viewers cannot err: in November 2008 they chose Michael Hirte as Germany's greatest talent at the TV show 'Deutschlands Supertalent'. In addition to 'the man with the harmonica', as he is called since his TV performance, the young pop band Nordwand is playing live on the stage at Zell's family mountain Maiskogel, too. From noon to 3 pm a shuttle bus offers transport to the 'Eisbärbar' where the musicians guarantee for first-class entertainment from 1 pm. For holders of a valid ski pass entrance is free.
