Music, sports, and relaxation from the summits to the valley

Waiting time is almost up! By the end of the week, the long awaited Hochkultur event is kicking off. For the third time in a row, the region is staging a unique musical highlight which harmoniously unites Austria's musical wealth and its impressive landscape. Some of the concerts which cover classic as well as jazz are taking place on Zell's picturesque local mountain of Schmittenhöhe. But down in the valley - at the Ferry Porsche Congress Center to be precise - you are awaited by a diversified event programme, too.

Sporting challenges can be taken for granted in the coming days as well: besides Zell's triathlon competition in the Olympic distance on 31st July, the 'Bike Infection' in Kaprun from 5th to 7th August provides the opportunity to explore the limits of your sporting performance - or at least watch others doing so! In addition to spectacular biking action, guests can look forward to a great party. And the youngest participants can emulate their idols at the Mini-XC Battle.

After such a tightly-knit event schedule you might feel like enjoying some relaxed hours without the need to check your watch in order not to be late for the next event. Head for the shore of Lake Zell! The sparkling blue heart of the region boasts drinking water quality which makes it one of the clearest lakes in all of Europe. Furthermore, the lidos, boat rentals, and water-skiing schools offer a wide range of activities to engage in. Or what about a cycling tour?
