Everything you need for a perfect day on the piste
The sound of their bindings catching in is like music in the ears of skiers. Only a few more moments and they will be right in the middle of the snow paradise of Kitzsteinhorn, Schmittenhöhe, and Maiskogel. Whether you are a pro or a beginner on skis: the blue, red, and black pistes of the region always offer you the right terrain for your personal standard of performance - on as many as 138 kilometres of runs covered in finest snow.
You do not even need your own equipment to enjoy the fun in thick powder snow: poles, skiing gloves, or carving skis can easily and conveniently be hired at the local ski hire companies. And now the new 'Easy Ski' package deal makes all this a true pleasure. Getting to the pistes could not be any more comfortable either - the ski buses take you to the lifts and cable cars in a flash.
In the evenings, when the skiing pleasure slowly nears its end, your holiday fun is far from over: there are parties in the ski huts and Alpine inns of Zell am See and Kaprun until the early hours of the morning. But even if you have had only a short night's sleep, you should still take the time in the morning to check and service your equipment before the next trip to the pistes. It is quite easy to do that in no time at all.
